Based in Darwin, Impact North works at the intersection of social enterprise and remote Indigenous business focused on driving positive change across Northern Australia and beyond. Impact North provides business support programs as well as a coworking space where they empower entrepreneurs to turn their vision into reality.
Weekday has worked with Impact North (previously Enterprise Learning Projects) since 2020, so it was exciting to hear from the team when they were ready to rebrand, reshaping their programs/subbrands, and visual identity to align under the Impact North umbrella.
At the core of their new visual identity were the themes of growth, connection, and flow. Impact North wanted a brand that reflected the key aspect of their work, maintaining a cohesive, nature-inspired design.
To meet this challenge, we illustrated ‘seedlings’, assigning them to each sub-brand and creating a total of 12 designs that can be used to add interest and depth to documents, as well as to assign to future sub-brands as Impact North grows.
We built on the brand’s existing colour palette to embrace vibrancy, cohesion, and diversity, allowing the Impact North team to mix and match for their different audiences and design needs.
After shaping the brand with the team, we got to work creating their website. More than just a new look, the website was rebuilt from the ground up, with an emphasis on their community and using the brand to create a beautiful, eye-catching, and authentic hub for their programs.
We love Impact North – we love what they do, we love working with them, and we love their passion. It’s been incredible to watch them grow over the years and we look forward to whatever comes next for them.
